Gathering Light is a one-of-a-kind fused-glass artwork inspired by honeycomb, warm light and the quiet work of bees.
Individual amber, golden-yellow and clear glass cells form an organic honeycomb around a hand-painted bee. Raised translucent wings and small textural details give the piece dimension, allowing the light to move through it differently throughout the day.
Handmade in Calgary, Alberta, this original piece celebrates the colour, texture and natural variation that make glass so captivating.
Details:
Original, one-of-a-kind fused-glass artwork
Hand-cut, layered and kiln-fired glass
Hand-painted bee with raised glass wings
Warm amber, yellow and clear glass
Display stand: Included
Approximate dimensions: 10 × 8 inches
Handmade in Calgary, Alberta
Because this piece is handmade, small bubbles, textures and natural variations in the glass are part of its character. Colours may appear slightly different depending on the light and surroundings.
